I am hoping to pole sim labs and test labs to see if anyone else is seeing a trend that we have noticed since NFRC instituted the radiation enclosure in the Therm 5 program. Previous to the radiation enclosure the trend was that the physical test was "Better" than the simulation(Lower U-factor) for solid aluminum products. Since instituting the radiation enclosure, the physical test is "Worse" than the simulation (Higher U-factor). Going back through samples that we had access to both the ...

Without more information this is difficult but are you possibly seeing the difference between NFRC 100-97 ( simulated vertically) and NFRC 100-2001 (Simulated at a 20 degree slope)? The difference is roughly 20%.
